Today was a head scratcher. What happened to his neutral defense which has been impressive?

He wrestled the 4th best kid in the country. Let’s not forget SCW is basically a walk on who is still developing. The fact that he’s even starting in big 10 matches is an absurd accomplishment. He’ll continue to get better but today he was outclassed.

Great fight from Casale. Just outclassed.

On a tough day overall, I enjoyed the Casale match. Many of you guys know a hell of a lot more about wrestling than I do, but I really thought the kid competed and went down fighting. After closing the gap to two points he still tried to make some moves. They didn't work against a very strong opponent, but I appreciated the effort.

McEnelly is gonna be a good one. Salazar is at 197 because he can't beat him. SCW will be fine it's his 1st go around

That's a good point and well taken. I wasnt trying to be harshly critical, he just didnt seem to defend shots the way he normally does. Could have been the competition and/or just a bad outing. No worries by me. I like SCW and have been very impressed with him this season. So
