He should have scored on that play
Did I miss it or was there no mention during the broadcast of him being a Rutgers guy ? And another linebacker....Kevin Snyder ? And three guys in the secondary ?
I was so hoping for a Pats-Panthers Super Bowl, with five guys on New England advertising what an excellent path to the NFL RU is.

had to listen on Sirius for the first quarter and they mentioned Rutgers on that play and also McCourty....then a third time about Ryan and Harmon. they didn't mention other colleges that I heard. and it was weird because it was Denver's broadcast...

btw they were SURE that pass was forwards.

I think that there is been so many mentions and articles about Rutgers players on NE it has jumped the shark and people have moved on. It's old news in this attention span challenged society.

Love Rutgers players but the story wouldn't have gained much attention anymore. Hate Brady and Belichick so glad I don't have to hear 2 more weeks about those two.

That's pretty cool. Who were the announcers? That was a huge play for NE. Let's face it, without that play and Logan Ryan playing lights out NE would not have had any chance to win.

I did start a thread on Ryan but nobody commented. They would rather put him down when he gives up a couple of completions last week. LOL.

pretty sure Ed McCaffery was one, not sure who the play-by-play guy was...

edit: googled it, apparently it was Dave Logan and Ed McCaffery....Rod Smith chimed in too...said if he was getting paid the play was a forward pass!

I don't know who Logan is but those other two guys were pretty good Ballers for the Broncos.

The number of RU guys is actually something of a running joke among Boston sports media. I thank largely because they can't grasp that RU put out some good talent.

There was a least one long piece on the McCourty brothers in the run up. Nothing that hasn't been written before but a good story still...
