Now they blame RU for not spending

Here is a quote from Sargeant's article. I know Sarg was elsewhere at the time but don't we have NJ.com and Sherman to thank for RU reducing spending....isn't that what Mulcahy got fired for. Spending money but everything was legit....now we are blamed for not spending big money to get big time athletics going.

Per today's article....."But this is Rutgers, after all, and the state university has shown a reluctance to spend big on athletics in general and football in particular in recent years. So it will take quite a bit of dreaming to believe this could be a reality."
