I don't think there are pull down menus any more to go back and forth. I think you just have to click on the forums on the above menu bar and go back to the main page where all the forums are listed and get in through that.
Lots more scrolling necessary on this but if it has a longer history of posts, I think that's a good thing. Every thing else I suppose I'll get used to in time.
That's a huge miss on an otherwise nice upgrade. The menu should have our forums in the forums tab.
Actually thinking about those pull down menus, I guess we don't have an easy way to go back and forth to other schools' boards within the conference and rival schools. That was pretty convenient as well.
Actually let me correct that, you know what we do. The colleges tab on the menu bar has a pretty easy way to go back and forth to boards for other schools.
Not recently. I mean, it dates back to the beginning of the war. It's gotta be at least 10 years old.
Click your screen name at the top of the page, and go to Personal Details. You can click your avatar to change it or check the box to delete it.
I think you can add a signature when you click on your name at the top. All the preferences for avatars, signatures and that kind of stuff is there.
Just in case you didn't happen to have your signature on file, I found it online so you can copy/paste from below.

Looks like all the people who were on ignore lists get a second chance, too.
I did what you said but that basically gets you back to the whole list of forums and you have to click again to get into another forum. It's the same as what I mentioned, where you can just click on forums and that takes you back to the main forum list where you can click back in.
I was just talking about like the old pull down menus where you could go back and forth between football/basketball or other sports boards etc.. without having to go back to the main board where all the forums are listed and clicking to switch. It's not too big a deal, just a minor convenience of the old board, now it's a couple extra clicks.
I noticed that immediately - no single click will get you to another forum now. Sloppy.
It's not sloppy... there's a quick navigation button in the upper right hand corner. Why be so negative because you're not used to something yet?
For those looking to quickly navigate to other forums from mobile there is a small icon in the top right corner. I havent used desktop yet.
Thank you that's what I was talking about. That little button with the 1 box and 3 boxes underneath does get you back and forth between forums. It would be nice if it was static though and didn't disappear as you scroll down the thread but that basically was what I was talking about.
There is also an up/down arrow that pops up in the lower right hand corner when you grab the scroller. Click up and it jumps you to the top of the page. Again, take a breath people this is how a forum is suppose to look like in this age...
I was wondering why all those old annoying posters I have not seen in a while started posting again today! In all seriousness, I think this is a great upgrade. It will take some getting used to initially, but a much better format indeed.
The like function might cause some individuals to go into a depression since the "cool kids" are going to be made obvious due to their high like count.

Two questions for people...haven't figured it out yet....
1)Has anyone figured out how to edit the title of your message? I misspelled a title and cannot change it.
2)Has anyone figured out how to embed HUDL videos? I cannot believe that a recruiting site won't allow embedding HUDL videos, but will allow embedding a bunch of other video sites.

True but it's still only 2 clicks (Rivals & board) to go between our boards which is the same as clicking old drop down & board.
You mean the huge title at the top of the screen? Hmmm I don't see a wrench under the title at all, even for threads I created.
AH HA!!! on top of your original post there is a dropdown called "thread tools" which you can either edit your title or post a poll.

Actually, it was mentioned above by another poster. There is a function similar to the old drop down menu of the old board that allows navigation between boards without going to the main page where all the forums are listed.
On the far right there is a quick navigation button, with 1 box and 3 boxes below. Click on that and a menu opens up that allows you to go back and forth between boards easily.
