Yes, they said they will stay in Arizona until Wednesday then fly out to San Fransico. They don't want to stay in San Fransico for the whole time and would rather stay in Arizona. I don't blame them.
You're not the victim here, no one is picking on the Giants.Like when ?
Actually it might good thing It is like one tripSeems and odd schedule . 2 west coast games in 4 days . Has this ever been done ?
I know the giants are staying out there, but still
Yes . I know the giants requested this.Actually it might good thing It is like one trip
Instead of two. Better than going from Jersey
twice.
No one is saying the giants are the victim. I said this scenario doesn’t happen often - with an east coast team playing 2 games on the west coast in 5 days . You said it does . So I am asking you to prove itYou're not the victim here, no one is picking on the Giants.
But this is 2 games in 5 days. I have heard of teams playing two Sunday’s in a row on opposite coasts . This seems rareI remember the Seahawks, may have been the Niners, having a similar schedule issue and but West Coast to East Coast a few years back. They stayed and practiced in Ohio for the week.
I can't find anything on it, but I think with the instance I mentioned, the games were a week apart, but they still chose to handle it this way. I think it's rare and probably unfortunate that the NFL scheduled the Giants this way. Staying out there is the only way to handle it.But this is 2 games in 5 days. Giants asked for back to back out there . NFL wanted the matchup for Thursday night. So much for player safety - 2 games in 5 days after a cross country flight.I can't find anything on it, but I think with the instance I mentioned, the games were a week apart, but they still chose to handle it this way. X-ray negative; team will know more after an MRI today. Hopefully dodged a bullet.Any updates on Barkley?
It looked worse at first. I thought it would be tough to have him play vs. SF in four days.Sprain. Will miss three weeks.
No doubt he is a talented player. But…Anyone remember last time he came back from a sprained ankle? He was below average when he came back. I read this is a grade 2 sprain. Not good for him or the Giants
Heard Boomer read a stat this morning. Since 1970, counting Thanksgiving Day games,Thursday night games, teams that were double digit favorites were 40-4 straight up and 28-16 against the spread. Not feeling very good about my G-men tonight, lol.
That’s a genuine concern. Designed plays to get it out of there quick and see what Bieda and Dixon can do. Would help if the D can get a takeaway and set up a score too. Kinda sounds like what we need to do at Michigan. 😁Tonight is gonna be ugly IMO. I fear for Jones's health going against that D with Thomas out
Every year it's the same old song and dance.Giants were missing left tackle Thomas and left guard Ben Bredeson.
Hard to play a team like SF with your left OL MIA.
Giants are so injured I think they need to investigate their S&C program and stop blaming the turf
It is.Every year it's the same old song and dance.
Stanford hasn’t exactly been lighting it up in the last decade plus. I understand your point, just a bad comparison. It is.
Too much heavy lifting is no good but Giants have long loved size and strength (like Flowers)
If a Subaru Impreza can max 120 mph do you want to hit that limit 2-3 times a week?
Of course you would start having problems.
But the Giants love the guys benching/squatting like Olympic lifters.
I see vids of Saquon lifiting crazy weight and I'm never surprised he gets hurt so much.
Stanford stopped having its players lifte heavy weights and their injuries went down 70% in a couple years. They never lift heavy at the combine so Giants wouldn't draft them. They loved Will Hernandez at 6'2" 330 and doing 37 reps - but he couldn't move.

Should have taken the 3My God do we suck. 4th and 1 and we get a 1/4 yd.
Now this bullsh*t, come on refs he was down. WTF are they looking at his ass and elbow were down.
