C'mon man, you know that is not possible. Lindor is immovable. Diaz is immovable. Nimmo is immovable. McNeil is immovable. Marte is immovable. So exactly what is it that you want to blow up?They really need to blow this mess up.
Sevi and Q are tradable but minimal return. Senga would have been a possible trade piece but not after the injury. Pete? Trade value decreased over time.C'mon man, you know that is not possible. Stearns inherited some bad contracts and will have to work around them.Sevi and Q are tradable but minimal return. Senga would have been a possible trade piece but not after the injury. Pete? Trade value decreased over time.
I’d rather see moves like Vientos staying here. Wait to see what happens when Senga and Alvarez are back,
Lindor contract leads the way!Stearns inherited some bad contracts and will have to work around them.
A dose of reality, if I may. The team and the system is what it is. The current roster has strengths and flaws that mean that it won't win or compete for a world series. The system is better than it was but not so much so that it is anywhere near where it needs to be. So . . . there is no answer this year. There just isn't. And there was no answer last off-season that would have put the Mets in the World Series this year. There was only the opportunity to sign this player or that player to a huge contract that the same people who called for those signings would later belly-ache about as players who can't be traded without unloading salaries.Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Just in the 3rd week in May, and the Mets are a 1/2 game back in the Wild Card as if that even matters at this point in the season. What does matter though is Steve Cohen stating changes could/would be made at the Trade Deadline. Fans need to stop thinking this is a team still owned by the Coupons! This is an owner who helped get the Mets to 101 wins just 2 seasons ago. Yes they crapped the bed the last week. LFGM!
I disagree with your basic premise that everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. The major thing that can go wrong for a team is injuries. Mets have had only two significant injuries - Alvarez and Senga. And MAYBE Mauricio. Although if healthy, there's no guarantee that Mauricio would have even made the club, much less be a major contributor.Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Why would that earn him a promotion? No organization moves up prospects with numbers that bad.Kevin Parada is turning into a disaster. Looking overmatched at the AA level. Hope that doesn;t earn him a promotion to AAA
Ryan Clifford????Why would that earn him a promotion? No organization moves up prospects with numbers that bad.
Cmon man get with the programRyan Clifford????
Was doing well overall. He's not a high average hitter and as I stated a million times Brooklyn is the hardest ballpark in the minors for lefty power hitters and yet still had a 126 wRC+. Parada for instance is at a 65.Ryan Clifford????
No you're just wrong. He had a .412 OBP in Brooklyn. This isn't a future .300 hitter.Cmon man get with the program
The batters eye was bad and the wind was always blowing in.

I’m not all touchy feely about being only 2 games back of the last wild card
Keep in mind what “fans” often miss- he is in Brooklyn- a LH hitter graveyard…baseball players are mental slaves…when an angle or speed is determined by .01’s it affects away numbers as wellHe's a raw prospect with a huge bat and hit .271 before going to Brooklyn . Also BA is not the be all end all. He has big time power so they need to develop it. Whether he does or not we don't know but moving him up from Brooklyn to Binghamton made sense on many levels. It would not for Parada which was the original argument.
I'll keep track and see if his numbers at AA improve any by mid June because we need to get some corner OF prospects on the come up in the worst way. Early on I had hoped that Alex Ramirez had turned a corner but he's tailed off after a nice start. He's a raw prospect with a huge bat and hit .271 before going to Brooklyn . Don't worry. Your ballot is in. No on Ryan Clifford..216 1 HR 32 walks
Guess all of his games are home games
216 in A ball what does that equate to in AA AAA ??
.180 ????????

Left with a no-hitter for 6 innings. I remember when that Braves pitcher did that some had issue with it. Anyway lets just hope it doesn't just wind up that the Pirates develop him just for him to wind up with the Dodgers, Yankees etc before 2030Paul Skenes is ridiculously good.
Please go root for another team then.Low standards

The Mets not only suck the life out of their MLB players, they are doing it to all of their top rated prospects too. How does everything they touch turn to shiit?Perfectly said @willisneverrana43
