I actually thought Costas was OK other than some of his reference to baseball players from 100 years ago. Darling was a tough listen.

I think people get used to their local guys since the season is so long and then become overly critical of postseason announcers.

Honestly, that's a no for me. Costas never shuts up. He keeps yapping away as if he has to fill every second of airtime. It's the playoffs and sometimes the story on the field writes itself and does not need announcer fillibuster.

I rarely have issues with announcers. Very few are worth listening to. Pissed that Sterling came back for the playoffs. Just background white noise until there is a big homer.

Doesn’t bother me at all. That wasn’t a very exciting game and it required some fill. There wasn’t a great story on the field last night. Boring game but the Yankees are a workman-like team that did what they needed to do.

Unknown to us as of now. I would speculate that it depends on how high his pain tolerance is. There's no way he's healed.

The Indians last win was so huge for the Yanks. Possibility of facing Skubal three times in a secen game series is no joke, no matter how weak the Tiger lineup is. He's at a level no other pitcher is currently at.
