Cleveland up 3-1 in ALCS.
Dodgers-Cubs series is 1-1 with LA up 4-0 in seventh. Arieta gave up 4 runs.
Justin Turner hit a solo home run. Where was this home run power when he played for the Mets?

Side note--Joe Buck is announcing the game. He seems to have toned it down quite a bit. He usually is annoying, but just realized he was one of the announcers.

I'm pulling for the Indians,as the last time that they won the Series-1948-was the year of the greatest election upset.

Rooting for the Indians or Blue Jays over either NL team. Dodgers over the Cubs in the NLCS.

The Cubs are learning there is another closer in the NL who is not named Chapman.

It does not do you any good to have a closer if you don't go to the 9th inning with the lead.

Thanks, Capt. Obvious..
BTW, the guy is a free agent at the end of the season.

Thought Rich Hill was going to give up some early runs to the Cubs but held it together and they beat up on Arrieta. Won't be so easy for the Cubs

"Game 2 of the National League Championship Series between the Cubs and Dodgers dominated Sunday’s cable rankings with a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.29 million viewers. Both figures more than doubled the closest competition."

Obviously baseball takes a back seat to the NFL (like everything), but these are good numbers for non network programming.

Love seeing the Cubs bats go silent and their team get humbled. Hopefully the Dodgers finish them off and send their fans into another winter of snowy misery.

Great signing of Jason Heyward by the way. $184M / 8 year contract and the dude is stinking it up in year one already.

As a Mets fan, I couldn't give 2 craps if Justin Turner gets a ring or not.

If his team wins, great for him. If they don't, so be it. Why would anyone care either way about a dude who was a role player going on to find nice success for himself after the team let him leave? He is a hard worker and if he gets a ring, it's well deserved.

It certainly wouldn't bother me guy.

Cubs-Indians for nostalgia, but Jays-Dodgers for good weather.
Indians almost seemed destined. Next in line: the Browns !

As a lifelong Dodger fan, I'm pretty pumped. If they don't advance I'll be rooting for the Cubs.

I can't explain why but for some reason I find myself pulling for the Dodgers over the Cubs, even though I can't stand Utley. Indians for the title would be my preference.

I hope this is the BEST year Heyward has in the remainder of his career.

The way he treated the Cards who salvaged the petulant punk....he deserves to be around the Mendoza line until he retires.
