Putting on a show at the Garden against the Johnnies. Boy do I miss him.
And our smartest player by far. He's UConn's best player. Not best prospect, but best player. He'd be our best ball handler, best 3 PT shooter, best FT shooter, best rebounding guard, best steal guy.
We all miss him and I can guarantee Pike misses him too. What’s he have 23 points… we don’t 3 guys who can put 23 up.Putting on a show at the Garden against the Johnnies. Boy do I miss him.
Dahntay jones . His leaving killed the program for years and led to Bannon getting canned. If there is any player whose decision to leave ,and when, hurt us more please let us know.
Yeboah, Spencer, and Jacob young. Seems like we did well thereThe transfer portal has been a net negative for us in basketball.

Are you sure he actually got his diploma from RU. Loyal son?? A loyal son doesn't screw you that bad. Anyways it's just another reason to root against Uconn.Dahntay jones . His leaving killed the program for years and led to Bannon getting canned.
Plus , it was a different world then where jones was meant to be a 4 year mainstay.
Spencer was a hired gun and is now a right graduate ! Loyal son
Yes . A Loyal son. He’s a Rutgers graduate . He did a lot for Rutgers and represented the university well. More than can be said for most on this board. Are you sure he actually got his diploma from RU. Loyal son?? A loyal son doesn't screw you that bad. Anyways it's just another reason to root against Uconn.
Those were prior to the portal and needed to sit out a year. We also lost Myles and Eugene via transfer back then.Yeboah, Spencer, and Jacob young. Seems like we did well there
Yeboah and Spencer didn’t sitThose were prior to the portal and needed to sit out a year. We also lost Myles and Eugene via transfer back then.
Yup we dribble way too muchWatching the UConn offense - it’s similar to our offense except they pass the ball and can actually hit shots. I don’t think the offensive system is the problem here. We’re just not good at basketball.
Jerome Coleman was a good replacementTodd Billet.
We were not given an opportunity to match.I’m sure Pike had his chance to match or beat any offer too bad We came up short. The season could have been fun.
He was my favorite player last year. Once he left my heart sunk knowing there would be a huge drop off in offensive production. He was our best and most consistent shooter, which he just showed today against the Jonnies. Without Cam, I believe UCONN would be lucky to be in the top 20 let alone number 1.He's UConn's best player. Not best prospect, but best player. He'd be our best ball handler, best 3 PT shooter, best FT shooter, best rebounding guard, best steal guy.
The portal giveth, and portal taketh away . . .The transfer portal has been a net negative for us in basketball.
Grad transfers have never needed to sit out. Those were prior to the portal and needed to sit out a year. We also lost Myles and Eugene via transfer back then.
He was a grad transfer to UConn, yes he got his diploma. Are you sure he actually got his diploma from RU. Loyal son?? A loyal son doesn't screw you that bad. Anyways it's just another reason to root against Uconn.
The only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet. He was a grad transfer to UConn, yes he got his diploma.
This whole we shouldn't dislike him because he's a "loyal son" is nonsense. I know plenty of RU grads who are sh!theadsThe only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet.
If you believe that then you've answered the question why some of our fans suck and do little to support RU. Bullshyt fans. The only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet.
Hey, I would have loved to see him stay, but no one who is objective can say he didn’t make the best decision possible for himself. He got paid well, he is leading the #1 team in the country, he is getting major kudos from around the basketball world for how well he is playing, UConn runs a much better system for his skill set, and he has upped his pro potential significantly. The only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet.
They have talented shooters at every starting position. The half court offense is far better with Karavan playing. He was out with a ankle sprain.Watching the UConn offense - it’s similar to our offense except they pass the ball and can actually hit shots. I don’t think the offensive system is the problem here. We’re just not good at basketball.
who left the football program. At this point we are football and basketball feeder programs.
