It's very sobering indeed, but it doesn't matter; people will believe what they want to believe. I've had the unfortunate experience of knowing more than a handful of those nearly 300,000. And while none of them were under the age of 67, they were all vibrant and full of life pre-infection. Maybe it's just me, but I can't fathom how so many of us regard elderly lives so callously.
A lot of people were saying by end of year. Fauci has been saying end of year for awhile. Some people were saying before elections, which was dumb.
