That's wonderful poetic license -- but I'm sure you'd agree that Colorado isn't robbing, stealing or killing. It's raising money, which is what any good athletic program tries to do. Colorado just has more alums and fans than Rutgers does who believe that supporting the athletic program is important. That's probably in part because Colorado has had success at times. (It claimed the national championship in 1990 after going 11-1-1,) It's a catch-22; you need donors to have success, but you need success to have donors.I've said a million times before CU will do things RU won't consider if it advances the program. Some of you question CU and place it in the same boat as RU, but it's different. I love Rutgers ( my father figure) will teach you honor and be a stand-up person, but Colorado ( my mother figure) will rob, steal, or kill to provide for its kids.
