No such file on my system.Usually when upgrading all of your former OS files are stored in C:\Windows.old. Try checking in there?
I foolishly upgraded my windows 7 machine to windows 10 and it has deleted very important files that I didn't back up. It also has replaced current files with old ones.
I did the same thing.I "upgraded" from W7 to W10 and immediately found that it sucked. There was an option to undo the process. I did that and I am happy to be back at W7!

Upgraded to windows 10 from 7, had no problems.
W10 really isn't that bad. I know the telemetry concerned some, but I think it can be turned off easily.
macOS, on the other hand, was left to rot by Apple.
I wish I saw this yesterday. I upgraded my laptop last night and now when I turn it on, I hear the Windows tone but then get a blank screen. Any suggestions?
