Great lineup but the problem with watching many of those again is once you know how it ends the mystery is gone. They were always, by far, awesome only the first time.

We have already gone thru on here the offering at 8:30 tomorrow night.

Spooky to watch it play out on this site if you ask me.

How did The Bewitchin' Pool, considered one of the weaker episodes in the series, get the prime 11:30 PM slot on New Year's Eve?

Fun fact about that episode. It was the last episode to be aired in the original run, and with good reason. After it was shot, they realized that the audio was bad. So they recalled the actors to dub their lines. One of the child actors couldn't make it. Her lines were dubbed by June Foray, an adult voice talent perhaps best known as the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel. Because the whole episode came across as sloppy and unprofessional, they saved it for last - at which time they thought no one would care anymore. 55 years later, how wrong they were!

I love the Bewitchin Pool....that piece of cake the old lady serves makes me hungry every time.

I think that 11:30 slot might be one of the least desirable though

I can't believe I have to wake up at 7 am to see Midnight Sun

Well that explains why that episode sounded a little strange. I thought the kids didn't sound "right." Now I know why.

In case anyone is interested in what the fanboys think, here is the IMDB viewer rankings of each episode, from 1 to 156. Scale of 1 to 10. "To Serve Man" is #1 with a composite rating of 9.2. The rarely seen "Cavender is Coming", a comedy featuring a young Carol Burnett, is #156. The fanboys don't think much of the few comedies in the series.

Well 'The Night of the Meek' is pretty high at 44, but "Once Upon a Time" is disrespectfully low at 97.

These are the fanboy ratings, submitted by those who are invested enough in the Twilight Zone franchise to rate individual episodes. They are not necessarily representative of the audience as a whole. As I mentioned, the fanboys tend to downgrade comedies such as Once Upon a Time.

Still love the Howling Man the best and poster who mentioned once you watch it once the mystery is gone is def right. But the nostalgia is always still there which makes it fun.

I shot an arrow into the air
Obsolete man
Time at last
Nightmare at 20,000 feet
To serve Man

Some of my personal favorites.

I love catching some of the rarer episodes. Netflix does not have season 4 so the marathon is a great time to view these. For example “An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge” is an excellent episode but ran for more than 30 minutes so you don’t see it much on reruns except the marathon.

William Shatner was a Serling favorite. His best work was done in the Zone. Captain Kirk was overacted like Jim Carey usually does

Perhaps A favorite, but not THE favorite. Shatner made two appearances. Others had more. Burgess Meredith and Jack Klugman, among others, each had four.

I rode the bike a little longer at the gym during my warmdown to watch one of my favorite episodes: Kick The Can.

I will record "What You Need" mostly because of Arlene "the chameleon" Martel, and Twenty-Two exclusively because of Arlene Martel. She was the best in an era of great TV actors; "Demon With a Glass Hand" was the best Outer Limits.

The Silence..... one of the few non "science-fiction" or "fantasy" episodes........ and in retrospect, kind of gruesome........

Any idea when Krypton (the 2nd season) will be shown?

Thanks!

MO

PS The TZ was a favorite for me / my parents many moons ago!~

Great lineup but the problem with watching many of those again is once you know how it ends the mystery is gone. They were always, by far, awesome only the first time.
sure, maybe the 'mystery' is gone but the real enjoyment of the TZ episodes is watching them over and over and appreciating differest aspects and perspectives...the acting, dialog, camera work, scenery, backdrops etc. can be appreciated over and over again!!

I know I am late to the party with this, but putting Four O'clock on at Four O'clock was a nice touch.

Some of those scared the bejebuss out of me as a kid.
