I don't care how tough your schedule is. You do not deserve an at large bid if you are one game over .500

Closer to home, Illinois and Indiana both getting at large bids this year really puts to lie all the reasons they gave us for RU not getting one two years ago.

Got to admit the facilities and player level is really good. Always has been . We need to reach that level as it has been a longtime . If Illinois-Indiana -Nebraska and as we saw with Penn State coming on at the end shows there is no reason Rutgers can’t .

Northern teams start at a huge disadvantage with a Feb-starting season. That’s not changing. The core for baseball, softball and football is in the south, and in Texas (Texas is not the south in case that wasn’t clear). The west is traditionally good in baseball, but that seems to be waning some…a team like Dallas Baptist could wipe its bitt with the best the b1g has to offer. Geography matters.

We desperately need a baseball stadium
Went to Michigan State a few weeks back, decent park that looks to hold about 2,500
Something like that would be perfect for us

May not care but SOS does matter a lot. They were #1 in the country, playing 31 games vs Quad 1. The only team with a RPI 50th or better that played more was Ole Miss with 32. Florida's RPI was #30 and made the field. Ol Miss was #32 and were left out.

The SEC has I believe 11 of 14 conf members in the tourney. With UT and OU joining they will have 13 teams next year there were in the '24 tourney. It's just a different level of baseball.
