OT: Francessa again with his foot in his mouth

No Sirus in my car so limited to the fan for sports news. Was driving to my bowling league,after the met game, and turned on FAN for the recap of the game. Mikey reports that Wheeler has a tear in his elbow. He is screaming to Manzo, his producer, that it is trueGary Apple just broke the story as he was watching SNY. They go back and forth for minutes. He screams to get Eddie Coleman on the radio to verify it.
Long story short SNY was showing coverage of LAST years Wheeler injury. No apology on air to either Manzo or the listeners. Total BS reporting never once got his facts straight!

The truly amazing thing is that he must have said 15-20 times "is that a new story or an old story". He was the one that screwed up and then was like on the warpath - call this guy - call that guy - get them on the phone. Blah, blah, blah. It's like he came back into the studio from taking a dump and just blurted out what he saw on SNY without taking a minute to find out what was going on and then blamed everyone around him. It was funny listening to him try to recover from the bufoonery.

Entertainment is subjective, and in a world driven by social media and viral content, Francesa's errors are often hilarious. Just look at the YouTube traffic he's generated, not to mention he's the inspiration for one of the best parody accounts on Twitter. Either way, there's no need to take him seriously. He's a talk show host, not a reporter.
