Anyone brew their own beer at home?

Thinking of taking up the hobby, wondering if there's any good online guides, books, etc. for beginners. Thanks.

Beer? Nah. Well, at least not for direct consumption. All my fermented grain goes in the still.

Can you post this on the home brew forum please.

Largest home brew store in New Jersey - North Brunswick location:

I can also heartily recommend the Love2Brew store. I would recommend starting out doing extract brewing and as you build your expertise and equipment consider going to All grain brewing. A brew day is a big commitment in time. Extract brewing can be 3 -4 hours while all grain can be 6+ hours. I love my brews and my only frustration is not having more time to brew.

Go for it. Nothing like home brewed fresh beer.

Search CraigTube on YouTube. Cool dude with a lot of good videos on brewing. Cheers!

Stills are like women - they're only dangerous when you ignore them.

I highly recommend you read "How to Brew" by John Palmer. If your into podcasts, "The Brewing Network" has a bunch of high quality podcasts on all topics related to brewing.

Palmer is good. Interview on CraigTube a must see for brewers.
