It started when a known rebel rouser / attention whore decided to inject politics into the thread, then double down on his initial inappropriate interjection with more of his infamous drivel, under the usual guise of playing it coy / being innocent when he's intentionally trying to, like usual, stir the potAgain, then why are you talking about the past?
Original post that raised a certain group's hackles was a direct response to the OP's question and merely mentioned tariffs.
I'd love to hear a rebuttal as to how he was wrong and it's really an ideal time to be laid off and out searching for a new job, rather than rehashing past complaints that are no longer relevant to reality.
Nobody (least of all, you nor I) know how the tariffs will ultimately play out
Additionally, it's never been an ideal time to be laid off - I've been there, I know the feeling
Myself and a few others have given suggestions on how to navigate these choppy waters
I certainly don't envy anyone in that position - and would think that since, regardless of our political views, we all love the same school, anyone of us who had the ability to, would help out a fellow Rutgers fan / alum / supporter
