I liked how casual he acted with no ham-boningRight on cue he scores a TD! Almost dropped it….phew!

He daked it.That was a really bonehead pass, wow.
Highly doubtful. Sure maybe they'll draft someone late again to back up but Purdy will be the starter barring injury.Purdy showing why he was a 7th rounder. 49ers will draft a QB this offseason or trade for someone who can help shoulder the load when needed.....
CMC was extended by Carolina... Niners traded a lot of picks to acquire him last year. Definitely worked out for them.I questioned the money paid to McCaffery when 49ers signed him but with 128 yds and 2 TDs rushing its paying off (and leading league in rushing). Somebody knew what they were doing in that deal.
Was hoping for one of the young QBs to win and continue on, but SF and Baltimore are the #1 seeds for a reason.
I guess I should have said new starters/young QBs.Brock Purdy (24) is younger than Jordan Love (25).
Lamar (27) is only 2 years older than Jordan.
It was. Great to see him doing well. Some players just have a knack for finding the ball and making big plays. He was one of them for us.Izien nice solo tackle
17-17 4th q
Couple of solid ones but mainly stinkers down the stretch. The playoff games have not disappointed, some really good games.
Izien is outGlad Detroit won. I think that will be a really good game next week and has an old school vibe.
Hate chasing the point early.Same question i have
Analytics, and it makes sense. If they make the 2 point conversion, then with another TD then just need an extra point to win outright. If they miss the 2 point conversion, it’s still a one possession game. NFL 2 point conversion rate is typically around 50% (maybe just below that) so odds of not converting on 2 straight attempts is low.WTF…..why did TB go for 2 there?
Not sure. They must have thought they had a surefire 2pt play. I wouldn't have went for 2 points it's too hard to get it.WTF…..why did TB go for 2 there?
But the win will always be in play if you kick the XP and get down there to score the TD. At some point, someone is going to stand up and tell the 2 pt. analytic nerds to f-off. Why chase it? 😂Analytics, and it makes sense. If they make the 2 point conversion, then with another TD then just need an extra point to win outright. I get it, but it’s entirely based on statistics. More often than not (assuming TB scores the required 2 touchdowns), it would work out in their favor. But the win will always be in play if you kick the XP and get down there to score the TD. It improves the chances of winning and you're seeing more and more coaches do it...I'd guess it will continue to become more common as we move forward. But the win will always be in play if you kick the XP and get down there to score the TD. Give me a hit off that bong - Purdy is one of the most accurate passers out there and he's growing into a very good QB. He's the starter until further notice.Purdy showing why he was a 7th rounder. 49ers will draft a QB this offseason or trade for someone who can help shoulder the load when needed.....
But you can still tie it and go to OT. Classic overthinking. It improves the chances of winning and you're seeing more and more coaches do it...I'd guess it will continue to become more common as we move forward.
If you're going to go for 2, it makes much more sense to do it after the first TD. You miss after the first one, and you've still got the chance to go for it again after the 2nd to tie it up. You miss after the 2nd one, and you're screwed.
Yeah lol he was only the #1 QB in the league statistically all season after only starting 1.5 seasons, with the highest QB rating and yards per reception avg in the league by a large margin.Give me a hit off that bong - Purdy is one of the most accurate passers out there and he's growing into a very good QB.
