OT: Plainfield HS is TOUGH this year! Is Smoke and Steve on to Najai Hinds??

Plainfield has a ton of Victorian houses that were built at the end of the 19th and into the 20th century by Wall Street brokers who commuted to NY.

I grew up there in the 1950s. Was pretty segregated with racial tensions simmering below the surface.

Was always amazed as a kid how the three plain fields were in three separate counties

When we move from Scotch Plains up to Redington, we would often come back to see friends and family and on route 22, was Kraushe field at North Plainfield high school and I remember my dad vividly telling us how many times he played there

And always feel like NP gets the short end of the stick in regard to the 3 towns

And S. Plainfield is known for wrestling
I always think of Kraushe field and the Canuck logo when I think of N. Plainfield !!
