Well, that's obvious. Interception is the last thing you want. But to be a good NFL QB you need to be able to read the blitz and get rid of the ball without turning it over. I think he's proven he can't do that. He's all potential, maybe he can develop because he's young but he's behind so far because he has so much to learn. He's Tom Savage to me, although the savage was more polished out of college, yes also 5 years in college instead of 3.

A former NFL GM just about placed all the blame on Franklin and your coming out of HS with bad mechanics spin is just your trying to make it look like Franklin's coaching didn't ruin Hack's developing into a good College QB.

Except he was not that accurate with Obrien. He was ranked 9th out of 12 QBs in the B10 that year and his the more INTs.

Hack was a good QB ruined by Franklin and the minute he said that to BFL scouts he became the Nits enemy in their " nothing bad should ever be said about the Penn St HC. The NFL scouts said Hack shouln't have said Franklin's coaching hurt him, even if it was true.
I'll take the scouts word over a bitter Nit that doesn't like Penn St looking bad for any football reason.

Hack was not that good of a QB. 9th out of 12 QBs in the B10 with Obrien. Had more INTs with Obrien in 2013 than JF this year. He also had a bunch of NFL OL in front of him, NFL WR and an all pro WR.

Maybe the Jets should have drafted one of the QBs out of Rutgers.
