Seton Hall up 9-6 early but they look lost out there. Wagner zone might be confusing them but they do not look organized
SHU will not be that great this year.
I expect their front line to not be up to the physicality of opponents on many nights. Shandro, Nzei are both lackluster on the boards.
Not to mention, with the majority of the offense relying on Myles Powell, I forsee a lot of bad shot selection. Hometown NJ kid, but just an opinion.

Thompson looks like he hates the game of basketball out there. Powell is their entire offense. Frustrate him and lock him up and theyre donezoooo. I can see peter kiss giving him hell on defense and eugene letting his presence be known after the cheap shot last year

IN conference play they will need more than one reliable scorer.
I am fine with him not being here. RU will beat SHU again this year.
Hard to draw any conclusions this early. Villanova's defense has looked spotty in the first half against Morgan State. Working in a lot of new guys. When I last checked, SHU was up big.

Yup that new SH lineup was confused alright in the early moments of the game. SH wins in a squeaker by 40. Oops!
Should be another great game against SHU this year. They looked pretty good tonight.
For sure. It'll be a lot of fun as a fan to watch. I am making a day and eating around Newark with some friends. There's a really good burger place down there.

agreed. Thompson really looked miserable out there. Awful body language
I am surprised he only had 2 rebounds. That is not any where near what Delgado got. Delgado will really be missed.
Powell is a big time player.

The fact the fact the Hall beat this team by 40 without either Cale or Thompson doing much offensively makes me feel good about the Hall’s scoring in future games- nobody for a long time will give us. Angel’s rebounding numbers . I think there will be rebounding by committee. We shall see how that turns out
Gotcha. That is a not a great team by any means in Wagner. Powell is very talented and I root for every nj player. Teams will have him at the center of their game plan. So the question becomes, who else can score when he is doubled or highly pressured in big east play? Hope Cale shows out. I am not convinced after his freshman year. You guys will watch a lot of fun basketball, though. Enjoy!

No he wasn't (believe that honor goes to Walter Dukes), but he was SH's rebound leader for 4 years. He will be tough to replace in the rebounding dept.
