Of course he is the one making the call. He took so much heat from failing to send people home in time during the ice and snow storm last November, he is over compensating now.
BINGO! 2 storms in a row!

I have to fess up- I read that on nj.com of all places a couple of weeks ago. I edited a bit, and I am now claiming ownership. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
And I was going to add...”if it was yours” in my previous post. ;)

Did some of the ones complaining now comlain when in 2017 Gov. Chris Christie announced state offices will be closed Thursday as a winter storm is set to roll across New Jersey.
The governor ordered "due to the impending severe winter storm, the state of New Jersey has authorized the closing of state offices" for all non-essential employees.
In 2015 Christie also took preventive measures before an approaching storm hit NJ.
Here's a tweet from 2018

Declaring state of emergency in Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean & Monmouth Counties. All state offices will now be closed. Please stay off the roads and stay sheltered and warm.

Could it be the complaints are more because of politics , than the GOV. trying to avoid trouble because of expected weather.
