Sadly, I am a creature of habit!why wait, Bob? DirecTV used to be great but it's not 2005 anymore. Who needs all those wires, boxes and a dish on your house?
I have Directv and was going to give it up just last week with the Disney dispute so I called them. I was fully prepared to cancel. The first person offered me 25 bucks back a month for a year for the same package, but I said no. She sent me to a retention guy. He instantly offered me a 70 dollar a month credit for one year. No contract. It brought my bill down to what the new subscriber gets.Sadly, I am a creature of habit!
Well, Youtube TV doesn't have the YES network and it's one of the only stations I watch a lot. It would cost 25 bucks a month to add the app. Def. not worth it for me.Why anyone would have anything but YouTube TV or a comparable streaming service is beyond me. Way cheaper and better service.
And it has all the sports channels you need (at least for me): all the ESPNs, FS1/2, BTN, YES, etc. But right now, it’s also impacted by the Disney/DirecTV dispute.DirectvSTREAM is a fraction of the price of regular Directv with no boxes or wires.
Agreed. Or the fees associated with having to have the regular Directv boxes. I have Directv Stream hooked up by Roku or Firestick on 4 tv's in the house, and on a football Sunday, I set up a temporary tv with another Roku very easily.DirectvSTREAM is a fraction of the price of regular Directv with no boxes or wires.
Yes it is affected by the dispute but I also have Xfinity ( internet -phone- streaming tv combo) so I am fineAnd it has all the sports channels you need (at least for me): all the ESPNs, FS1/2, BTN, YES, etc. But right now, it’s also impacted by the Disney/DirecTV dispute.
Me too….I’m on a 21 day free trial of YouTubeTV. Just hoping the dispute is resolved within the next couple weeks.Yes it is affected by the dispute but I also have Xfinity ( internet -phone- streaming tv combo) so I am fine

It's also pretty convenient to watch via the app on your iPad or phone. Or say like if you are on the road somewhere and the TV there doesn't have some channels.
Of course we are F'd with the scumbag Disney dispute right now, but for me personally that only really affected MNF which I just streamed illegally anyhow.
YouTube tv with a $75/year iptv app that has all the other stuff- Rutgers, yes, other regional networks, etc is the answer for meWhy anyone would have anything but YouTube TV or a comparable streaming service is beyond me. Way cheaper and better service.
Woohoo! Within my 21 day YouTubeTV free trial window.
