Klinsky is a lot better than his record indicates. He wrestled Peterson and Shawver both really tough last year.

Awful. Just an awful match. I'm shocked he even wrestled. Why was he even out there?! You'd think they'd want to ensure his leg was okay.
A supposed ranked 2 wrestler should never be losing to a sub .500 guy… why was Peterson wrestling again?
I agree Peterson is the way better wrestler but factor in injury, a weird back to back on the schedule, and Klinsky being a workhorse I’m not overly surprised.
Are u surprised he was wrestling in a meaningless match while banged up.. in a dual we are in no threat to losing?

You're not overly surprised that a sub 500 guy just beat the number two wrestler in the country? I know he was likely wrestling injured but If the script was flipped we'd be throwing a party for weeks
It wasn’t a smart move putting Dean out there. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for the kid.
That’s just pure strength he wanted the move and muscled his way to it.

Goodale wouldn’t have put Peterson out there if there was any health issue. He lost..this is why you wrestle the matches
Or not wrestle.. better preserve seed and wrestle as few matches as possible until nationals.. all the elite teams/individuals doing it

While that’s the true, there something to be said about being smart and cautious in regards to one of your best guys on back to back days in more than likely lopsided dual after he got banged up the night before regardless of the what the wrestler says. I’m sure Dean said he was fine and wanted to go, but this is where the coaches need to step in and make the smart/tough decision. He clearly wasn’t 100% so it ended up being the wrong move to send him out there.

Agree RU coaches and trainers are not putting Dean out on the mat if he is injured. He was not even taped up. Probably had more to do with weighing in last night and weighing in today. He was gassed in the first period, that is not from an injury.
And once Fix and Araju get down to 125, the mix of seeds will all change.
Neither Fix or Vito are moving down. What makes you say that?
