Penn State Hotel Options Ideas & Days Inn Lewisburg

we are staying in lewisburg also, Days Inn.
I went to Bucknell (so did Shiano) in Lewisburg. If you stay in Lewisburg, best hotel believe it or not is Hamptin Inn which is brand new. Other hotels generally average at best. Hampton Inn is fine but since it is new, better than the normal Hamptin Inn.

Is this childish stuff needed? You have a poster trying to help people out and you get these kids of responses. It might have been funny the first time you posted it but it getting old. Don't you have anything original?

Just an FYI on some rules that many venues allow.

Tents/Tarps/Canopies
Tents, canopies and tarps are not permitted in the Preferred, Yellow or Black parking areas.
Where tents are permitted, tent stakes or anchors
cannot be driven into the ground or pavement. Where allowed, tents/tarps/canopies are not permitted in roadways, drive lanes or fire lanes.

(This hasn't been strictly enforced in the past but you never know when they will start)

Actions prohibited in parking areas:
➤ Consumption of alcohol in the lots while the game is
in progress
➤ Amplification of sounds (leave the dj equipment at home. never had problem with small radio)
➤ Behavior that interferes with other guests’ enjoyment of the
event, including threatening and abusive language, fighting,
kicking, wrestling, etc.
➤ Breaking the ground plane by driving stakes or anchors,
digging, trenching, etc.
➤ Distributing handbills or pamphlets
➤ Infringing on another guest’s area while tailgating.
This includes throwing of objects.
➤ Parking in a space or area designated as no parking or
reserved parking
➤ Picketing or political campaigning
➤ Possession and consumption of alcohol in parking areas
not in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth

and other oversized inflatables (unless authorized by

or carts other than those used by disabled patrons

➤ Golf carts and gators (except Stadium Operations personnel)
➤ Kegs of beer or beverage alcohol
➤ Weapons, fireworks

Staying in Harrisburg, had no problem getting a reservation

If you're going and don't plan to tailgate, a parking option that is easy and cheap is parking at the hills plaza and taking the shuttle over to the game. The shuttles run pretty much non-stop and by-pass all of the traffic going into the game and will drop you off at the BJC. I believe it's $2 per person each way. Also makes it much easier leaving after the game as you will be back on the main road and can get out of State College easier. I take my dad who's a PSU grad to a game every year and we always park there.

The bus is great if your not tailgating. It also stops at several of the hotels. There are many food vendors outside of the stadium if you want to get something to eat pregame.
