We have been consistently told we are lower middle of the pack for NIL money but with the exception of about 4 guys ( Cam, JY, CJ Getty and Yeboah) our transfers - even before the NIL implosion has been historically terrible and next year has the potential to be the Granddaddy of them all
Pike has a much better track record of finding underrated gems out of HS and developing them, but that isn't the trend college sports is heading in
Given the above, you have to respect his eye for talent, but his batting average on transfers says differently
I think he will be gone after next year which is a shame, but why has he had so much trouble getting legit players out of the portal. It can't only be lack of Funds, perhaps he is spreading it too thin or is he overpaying for guys who are just not worth the price ( Francis)
