I’m talking about Bryant freshman Charles Pride.

In his first collegiate game against Brown, he played only 12 minutes, taking two 2-point shots and missing both. We would have had virtually no film on him worthy of our attention.

Against us, in only his second collegiate game, the guy played 32 minutes, shot 8-14 including 5-7 on treys, scored 22 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, had 2 assists and 2 steals.

If he’s legit, and plays consistently at or near that level, then Bryant will likely have a much better year than originally thought.

Sounds like the Fordham guard who had his career day against us.

EDIT: Pride had a decent offer sheet for a 2-star. Weber State, Siena, Iona, Rider, Stony Brook... those are all good low-majors. Good job by the Bryant coach to get him.

Honor from Fordham, who burned us for 30 points last year, averaged 15 points per game for the season, so he’s a legit scorer. If Pride has a season like that, with Grant and Green also playing well, Bryant should have a good year.
