I think it’s widely anticipated that P4 schools are largely going to use rev share funds for football. But what about non P4 schools that play high level basketball? Will they be working with the same approx $20M cap?
I know most non P4 schools (and even some P4 schools) don’t have the funds to spend $20M/year, but what about UConn, Georgetown, Gonzaga, etc? Even if they put $7M to $10M rev share towards their roster, that would be waaay more then any p4 will likely put into basketball….will rev sharing create a huge advantage for these big time basketball/low-level football schools?
