Reiber should be in rotation…

Insane this is a thread after tonight
I disagree. Woolf has passed Rieber. We want the best in for the rest of the season. Rieber looks lost out there.
Why does he “deserve” minutes? Pike sees these guys every day in practice, and as he has said in the past “this isn’t middle school, not everyone plays”. If he earned them - aka “deserved” them - he would be getting them. He looked poor in his few minutes his last few appearances to boot. He has his rotation he trusts and he will ride it until the wheels come off.
He airballed 2 threes tonight. Not sure what happened to him. He can come in to hack Edey and take some fouls, that’s about it. Wouldn’t let him take a shot tho
Its great to see him finally dunk. He always lays it in bit finally threw down a dunk with authority showing plenty of explosion

Woolf is a monster and will only get better! Watch his footwork and his passing out of the post. I actually wish Cliff had a few of his inside moves. I have high hopes for him and he has surpassed rieber who does look lost this year—very odd
I like Dean. But sometimes coaches have to send a message also. Pike is recruiting at a very high level. To think there was a day a talent like Rieber would be slowly moved out of the program is crazy

Not sure what happened to Reiber, he looks totally tentative on the court, he was developing nicely last year, played with confidence and provided valuable minutes. For whatever reason he looks lost, tentative and and not in the flow of the team, totally out of sorts this year.
Reiber has gone backwards. He’s playing like he did as a freshman. Things change but no way he belongs in the rotation right now. He needed to step up this year and instead he stepped back.

Unfortunately for Reiber it doesn’t look like he has a position when he’s on defense
WOLF is going to be a star here, and may have a whole section wearing wolf masks by the time he is a senior..
Reiber looks more frustrated than lost. I still think he will have value in the rotation, either as a backup hacker at the 5, or a stretch 4.if shot comes back. will see how the season plays out..

He missed a week with an ankle injury. Has nothing to do with him sulking around on the court because he got passed by a true freshman. If he wasn't minutes he needs to play with more fire in his belly.
Both Miller and Reiber have been reduced to garbage minutes.
Game circumstances be it foul trouble, illness or injury will allow them to play a role in future games.

Dean played 12 good minutes against Indiana when circumstances dictated he play.
When the starter and middle relievers are knocked out by the 3rd inning, but you score 10 in the 4th…someone has to pitch😊
Last game he had no energy in warm-ups and sulking. Saw nothing different last night except he did give a couple low fives in in practice. The 2 air balls were bad.
I see a better attitude from Miller and Palmquist. I like Rieber but too much competition now. I am hopeful he stays locked in because we will need him.
Unfortunately NET metrics now require blow outs so PT suffers. In games where they can be closer perhaps a few minutes can be spared.

This was a game that he could have played some extended time if coach wanted
I would have liked a bit more, maybe Choi a bit if he is not redshirting
Rieber is not close to Woolfolk, can’t take minutes from Wolf
He'll play; long season - Cliff will get his 1st Qtr fouls on the road - since it's a B10 officiating prerequisite; and when he gets those opportunities needs to show he can play strong underneath.
Reiber seems like a chill guy, doesn't mean he is sulking.
The speed of this team is way different than last year. Reiber seems about 1000 mph too slow to the tempo

Why does he deserve minutes when Woolfolk is much better as a freshman than the third year Reiber.
