He earned it with his brief defensive contribution at Purdue. 😉A game like today is good to keep him engaged and feeling like he is contributing

Very nice roll for the dunk and the D fell asleep without Cliff being in. He had some solid minutes, but still badly missed on a 3 and put up a pretty ugly shot that he was bailed out on with an offensive board for a bucketOne of Reiber’s main roles is the Roll.
The Reiber Roll was once again an easy Dunk. His execution of the pick & roll is textbook.
There were a few ill -advised shots. He can shoot, but needs to be set up or make better selections..
He is a good rebounder, but he is foul prone on defense..
He helped give the team an early lift in his limited minutes last night…
Dean playing 3 minutes was never an issue. His role has always been 10 minutes or less.So appears the resistance to the concept of Dean in the rotation has largely had a turnaround--Good to see.
He has been a good cog, has a skill set different from other 5s and appears to be a good teammate who bleeds scarlet .
Pike has developed this squad that many players may be effective on any given day. Really impressive squad development.
He had 1 basket and 1 reb in 3 mins. All he is doing is giving Cliff a breather. I also think his 3 mins were when Reese was off the floor in foul trouble. I'm sure that he is working hard but he is not a Big 10 calibur player.Dean is an important part of this team and is one of the players that allows Pike to concoct his strategies.
He was a contributor to a win last night, you should acknowledge it
Over a 40-minute game, that's 26 pts. & 13 rebounds. He's a B10 player. He had 1 basket and 1 reb in 3 mins. All he is doing is giving Cliff a breather. I also think his 3 mins were when Reese was off the floor in foul trouble. I'm sure that he is working hard but he is not a Big 10 calibur player.
I think he hit 7 three’s all season, only 12 attempts.Very nice roll for the dunk and the D fell asleep without Cliff being in. He had some solid minutes, but still badly missed on a 3 and put up a pretty ugly shot that he was bailed out on with an offensive board for a bucket
Solid minutes, but these weren't the level of minutes he provided last year still if we are being honest here where he was was splashing 3's and getting multiple buckets
Yup and 3 for 13 this year. Not goodI think he hit 7 three’s all season, only 12 attempts.
If Cliff ever got hurt and Dean had to play major minutes for an extended period of time it would become apparent quickly.Over a 40-minute game, that's 26 pts. & 13 rebounds. He's a B10 player.

I agree. He made some big plays to help us pull away .People are sleeping on Reibers minutes from last night
If that happens, then Reiber gets in game shape quickly and Woolfolk improves through a lot of game experience. If Cliff ever got hurt and Dean had to play major minutes for an extended period of time it would become apparent quickly.
If Cliff improves to being a consistent 33% from that top of the key ‘3’ then that would change everything for the offense. After seeing his stroke, I think this is certainly possible but it may take some more time.Cliff has shown that having him take the wide open 3 from top of key is bad strategy for us. Dean missed a couple yesterday but his ability from range, esp when uncovered up top, is a good use for him.
Or 40% over 2 years.Yup and 3 for 13 this year. Not good
58% vs 23%
We have no idea what he shoots over a large sample size. He's taken very few career 3'sTeam is shooting about 30% from 3. Any good look Reiber gets from deep should be shot. He’s at minimum a 35-40% shooter from 3 over a large sample size. Seems like Iowa gives the opportunity for more Reiber minutes.
Teams know not to leave him wide open after last year’s success shooting the three. It’s a different look shooting the ball unguarded to someone coming at you. Hopefully he adjusts to it and starts knocking them down whenever his out there. We have no idea what he shoots over a large sample size. He's taken very few career 3's
I'd guess 35%+ he's rushed a few this year and only took really set wide open 3's last year
