The score of that MSU game was 50-48 with 7:37 to go, and 20 seconds later Myles picked up his 4th foul and took a seat, in a game he would foul out of, in only 15 minutes of court time. From that point we were toast. I know Myles has to take responsibility, but man, some of those foul calls were questionable.
I bring this up now because, aside from that game, Myles has been dominant against our best competition this year — at Pitt and home to Wisky and SHU. In those three games he shot a combined 16-18, grabbed 34 rebounds (including 15 ORebs) and scored 34 points while adding great D and passing to go along with blocks and assists.
His ability to step up in big games (barring foul trouble, naturally) bodes well for the season going forward.
