RU bringing 13 to Navy Classic this weekend

Looks like consolations are for 5th place.....
3rd place is the losers of the Semifinal bouts.

Hopefully get to see Donner vs Turley

Aguilar with an impressive upset win to move on to the Semis. I'm not liking the fact that we seem to have a mental block vs Sparty today considering now Alvarez just lost.

Alvarez will most likely get #18 ranked freshmen Giraldi from Va Tech next in consi's

Aguilar with the nice win. He has Prata from VT (just beat Heinselman of OSU in the dual) next who is excellent on top. I hope the coaches know not to choose bottom against him. Aguilar too small and Prata is a full sized 125lber.

looks like anyone in the 10-25 range at 133 are about equal.
Oregon States #22 ranked Devan Turner also lost and could potentially face alvarez.

Alvarez needs to wrestle well in the consi's

MSU absolutely dominated us today up and down the lineup except for Pagano..doesn't bode well for our dual this year lol

We stink, rarely win matches we are favored in, too many guys happy to let people hang Around so we can lose in the end. Very few upsets.

Not a lot of Upper Classmen to set good examples for the younger guys, at least on the Mat. Our best wrestlers are freshmen and RS Frosh outside of maybe Grello and Pagano

And now Colucci loses in SV.

It's been a real tough late afternoon for RU

I would not go that far, team is in a transition year and with the youth of the team, gonna be some good wins and bad losses. Just look at Alvarez, just had nice bounce back win against the ranked kid from VA Tech. Hopefully the young guns keep improving and at tourney time they are ready to make some noise. Some of the "veterans" at this point maybe what we see is what we get.

Appreciate the passion but you have to put this in perspective. One, everyone in college is tough. Kudos to Michigan State on their depth. Two, lots of teams/individuals seeing these type of results. Just one example. The kid Gerard Angelo wrestles in the next consi round pinned then #2 Sammy Sasso last week. Today he lost to an unranked kid from Bucknell. It’s a combination of style matchups, weight cuts and yes, in some cases mental/physical toughness. Just need to keep a level perspective.
