this is unbelievable. 16 fouls against RU and 7 for NW. We've shot 6 free throws and they've shot 16

HOW DO YOU CALL THIS FAIR

we should have had 8 free throw attempts in the first 5 minutes of the game and they dont call the fouls it's such bull

Only took 3 fouls in succession for that to happen. 2 of which had no play on the ball and could have injured our player

Could be Bob Manfre if they made it to the game. He's pretty vocal about calls that bother him.

The official called it on Tyler when the Northwestern player was trying to steal the ball from her. The initial contact, which SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FOUL was committed by the Northwestern girl. Instead the official called it on Tyler. A terrible call!

When doesnt this happen? In the last 4 minutes we couldnt go a possession without getting some ticktacky foul called on us. NW had to foul 3 times in a row to get one call against them

this could have been prevented. If the referees had called fouls earlier on NW, the NW player wouldn't likely have taken Rachel out like she did. She clearly hip checked her. No flagrant and while they gave the foul, this is how players get injured, when you don't call early fouls.

exactly. they were calling reach-in stuff on us, while ignoring the more dangerous stuff in the paint.

That's what I mentioned above. That's HOW Northwestern was able to go on on that run. I just heard that we were called for 16 fouls. SIXTEEN freakin' fouls officials? I don't think so.

After going up 15 the refs started going crazy and the team started making a lot of dumb TOs. But that was a nice 5-0 run to end the half. CVS is justifiably PO'd at the refs, as they are inconsistent and now not letting anyone play basketball. We have three players with 3 fouls which is absurd, but fortunately their best player, Coffey, also has 3 fouls. Considering Copper is our leading scorer and she sat like half the first half the team has done well for itself on offense.

Team has to be smart enough to adjust to these stupid calls. They also need to take care of the ball better. Even with the ticky-tac calls they could have maintained 15pts..

I loved CVS's halftime interview. When was the last time she got a T? Perhaps when you're up by 10+ you can take one to say enough is enough.

ESPN's Gametracker shows 3 fouls on Tyler, while the CBS Gametracker shows 4. I think CBS is right, but I'm not sure.

Fans should know by now that Rutgers commits too many stupid fouls far away from the basket.Copper getting two early fouls took the air out of the Rutgers offense because she was unstoppable.The Hollivay injury is another key going into the second half.The two other centers might foul out based on their inability to defend without fouling.Davis and Scaife having three fouls going into the second half is bad news on offense and defense.Everybody knows what Northwestern will be doing in the second half which will be to drive to the basket and get fouls.Rutgers has the better athletes but it means nothing if their best players are sitting on the bench.Ruitgers might be forced to play zone to stay out of foul trouble.

Take out the centers, put in a 5 guard rotation. Then run them to death! Middle of the 4th put the centers back in, let them foul out. Then go back to the 5 guard rotation to finish the game. My solution to the fouling problem. And, will increase the scoring of the better Athletic team(RU) to increase the lead. But, don't sit back!
