Watching gametracker - equally if not more horrible than TV.
4 points in 10 minutes is just disgusting, I don't care who is playing, you're a BB player (supposedly) so you should be able to score some points. If you can't shoot, you shouldn't be on the court playing college basketball.
Nice comeback 3rd quarter (for those of you caring about the actual game). RU 38-37 going into the 4th. We gave away 4 easy points to end the 3rd. It's a struggle but they are playing hard. Outrebounding a taller SHu team 32-19
53-45 win over Seton Hall w a depleted roster ! Great effort team ! Tenacious Defense and hustle !
just enjoy the win, that's all we RU WBB fans can do and should do after every win [cheers]
caught the 2nd half, team looked good especially Sanders who took charge and the bigs really came through late.Congrats to the players on hard fought win. A sign of life for the program for one day at least
Good thing you are not AD. Your "better"'coaches team just lost to the worst RU team of all time, who only had seven schooarship players dressed tonight.
Chill out. Seton Hall has a young team too. The coach won 20 games the last three years turning around the program. It was an excellent win and leave it at that.
I will enjoy this win for now. Remember, we are depleted but SH had 7 freshmen. Let's see how the seasons for these two teams progress. Which one gets better, etc. we can revisit at a later date.
exactly one game does not make Bozella chopped liver, just as those saying Banghart was chopped liver after starting 0-4 and she did thump both NJ schools by almost 30. Bozella and Banghart have obstacles at their schools that they will not have at Rutgers, they both have proven they can win, albeit both are in rebuilding years right now
Looks like more of a Seton Hall love fest when the Hall coach gets knocked, then just enjoying a great win by Rutgers over the Hall when things weren't looking so hot going into the game.
I'll not knock the Hall HC or team for their losing, just praise the RU WBB team and coaches for winning this game against Seton Hall.

Very nice 2nd half and definitely uplifting. Did exactly what we had to do on the defensive end in the last 1:30. SH made the mistakes and not the shots. Big difference when they can't score and have to foul. Except for the 2 foul shots missed in a row everything else fell into place.

Tough to win games like this with 8 bodies and a team that generally doesn't shoot well at times. I think we need work breaking the press and taking advantage of numbers. There were quite a few times in the 4th qtr where we broke the press and had 3 on 2 and 3 on 1 opportunties and backed it out. No reason not to get some close in shots and maybe easy baskets. Have to make it easier so we don't have to work as hard.
yeah they looked bad against the press..on a plus note it was great to see them not fouling like we usually see them do that allows the other team to come back
