Agreed that Boardwalk Hall and Jadwin Gym are more “historic cathedrals” of entertainment venues than both the Barn and Walsh.
Being a fan of sports history, I think it would be a really cool novelty to have a bball “throwback” game at the Barn. We’re now beyond the point that it could be a regular season game, even against a non conference local squad, but possibly against a D2 team, a historic rival like Colgate, or NYU etc. Jam pack the place, throwback shirts etc. No complaints about sound system, let the Pep band play like the old days. No need for a video board as the RAC went it’s entire history except last few years without one too. Sell tickets at a higher price since less seating. Throwback uni’s, t shirts, etc. Bring in bleachers that go the whole sideline like when it was home. Pack with students from college Ave. Would be awesome
