Why do you need to be a college coach? I could coach a team with two lottery picks to a .500 record and my credentials are 8 years coaching my sons travel basketball team.
That ankle roll was nauseating to watch. I’m surprised he even gave it a shot.
On this team he's a starter, if for no other reasons he's the toughest kid on the team and a decent defender.
Yeah but this testing the waters every single game with the flu and the ankle has to stop. Kudos to him for trying but he needs to Just Sit.

He had an incredible game today and everyone will sing his praises (and rightfully so), but unless his decision making changes, there will continue to be more bad games than good. He needs to play within himself.
He's bad, but there have been some pretty bad offensive players here over the last 4 decades.
Bingo, 50/50 proposition based upon what this team has been, current lack of size and schedule that waits ahead. I think they finish bottom three.
Yes. A closer loss. A healthy Dylan is amazing but Izzo adjusts. His players 3-10 are so much better to a man. The best we can do vs a good team is a close loss. We showed that with a healthy Dylan. The rest of the team isn’t good enough.
100% agree – – they could easily be 6–3 instead of 3–6 in the conference right now.
Think about it, with Dylan out, Pike was forced to give minutes to Jordan. Instead of putting JD in for 4 minutes and then substituting, i prior games JD was never able to get into the flow. MSU is no slouch and JD played tough, he deserves extended minutes to see if he can replicate this performance.
Disagree. Talent wise, yes but he’s standing around most of the time doing nothing.
Honestly who really cares?
We were ranked in the top 25 to start the year and aren't going to make the tournament. Missing the conference tournament would be like the 5th biggest embarrassment this year.
Once again - a shot that makes you go “wow”…but what else??? Not too much I can think of
He's now 12 games under .500 in nine years coaching a team that probably has won an average 7 out of their first 10 games every year against patsies - 32 games under .500 vs. Big 10 comp. Enough's enough.
He would make a difference. He takes most of derkacks points and the box score looks different
Anyone who has a game like this deserves more minutes the next game to see if they can keep it going

And every one a clean look at an important juncture. If he makes two of those, it’s a very different game down the stretch. He was recruited to make those shots, and he has done so in the past, but some are still blaming Pike.
But he made the tournament two of those years, so he’s a god. The bar is low here. He’s always compared to our prior loser coaches instead of the rest of college basketball.
Because you dont have 2 draft picks out there taking 75-80% of shots and everyone else out there expected to just stay out of the way & not being able to play their game.
