With the evolution of Ace, not a great game today but a huge improvement since Vegas.
A healthy 100 percent and motivated dominant Dylan would have resulted in MANY wins.
Our current bench with the added minutes of Grant would have made us dangerous with a non sick and injured Dylan

There is not 1 team in the WORLD winning with 2 players taking 80% of shots dont care how the emerge or how healthy stay are. May have better chance in NBA but college is team ball. Teams actually defense in college

Exactly. A healthy Dylan might have scored 20 points, and Derkack probably gets significantly less. This game was never in doubt and we would find ways to lose. Coaching would also make a huge difference in a close game. This is not a good team at all.

Think about it, with Dylan out, Pike was forced to give minutes to Jordan. Instead of putting JD in for 4 minutes and then substituting, i prior games JD was never able to get into the flow. MSU is no slouch and JD played tough, he deserves extended minutes to see if he can replicate this performance.

JD is not and never will be a Power 5 Divsion 1 player. He deserves ZERO minutes and should not even be on the roster. Stop playing JD

We lost by 7 to the #8 team in the country without the best offensive player in the country. These guys don’t even watch the games.

The irony of CBB fans saying they don't understand how Ace and Dylan (and others over the years) can't understand how freshman are top NBA prospects while also saying "imagine how good they would be us in 3-4 years" is not lost of me.

NBA teams are saying the same thing "Think of how good Ace/Dylan will be in 5 years".

It was pretty crazy how little they did to get Ace a better matchup or get him going especially after halftime

They had to know Dylan didn't have it and Ace would need a big 2nd half to pull off a win and didn’t seem to even try to make an adjustment

I don’t care how many points the kid had, it’s not like he was throwing up a ton of quality looks either, he was just hot.

This isn’t even about JD’s performance though.

You have a top 5 future NBA superstar on your roster. He’s LOADED with talent, and presents a matchup issue for a lot of teams.

Today? Carr was a matchup issue for Ace. Very long, athletic, big. Not many teams have a guy like that.

But guess what, MSU has him, and our staff did nothing to change that matchup in our favor. That’s a problem. It was clear as day. Our staff was content with MSU having that matchup, even though it was clearly bothering your win condition. Inexcusable.

Not once he's logged alot more ball in last 15 yrs than people here have in their lifetime. His form was great last night. When he jumps straight up & in rhythm he has a solid shot. When he jumps a little forward and sticks ass out its going to be a brick

Durant is an excellent passer, a much more refined scorer, a better ball handler, a better defender and also a much better FT shooter.

For NBA teams, the less time a player spends in college, the better the prospect they are. College basketball does nothing to prepare players for the NBA.
