I’m sure he’s a great kid. Would make a great player at the ymca.Martini missing 3 after 3 after 3 instead
There is not 1 team in the WORLD winning with 2 players taking 80% of shots dont care how the emerge or how healthy stay are. May have better chance in NBA but college is team ball. Teams actually defense in collegeWith the evolution of Ace, not a great game today but a huge improvement since Vegas.
A healthy 100 percent and motivated dominant Dylan would have resulted in MANY wins.
Our current bench with the added minutes of Grant would have made us dangerous with a non sick and injured Dylan
For Izzo, I thought he was very mellow compared to other years.Williams knocked down no call, And IZZO complaining to refs right up to the last second
When the other 3 guys on offense are NOT part of offense there is NO winning formula plain & simpleI've stated Harper + Bailey + good (not needing great) games from the rest is R winning formula. What's the problem?
The whole season is a suffer.WTF with "suffers" in the headline?
WTF with "suffers" in the headline
I know I’ve suffered watching it, I assume others share the sentiment. The whole season is a suffer.
Suffer is not in my vocabulary. The whole season is a suffer.
I get your point, but Rutgers……..Suffer is not in my vocabulary.
He played well on D. I give him a pass on the shooting. His shot was getting better but not today.I’m sure he’s a great kid. Would make a great player at the ymca.
Ageeed but with the supporting cast Pike assembled, there is no chance of even competing without DH.I get it, but we weren't exactly blowing out bad teams when he was healthy
I prefer enduresI get your point, but Rutgers……..
If anything that helps his point lmao. We are immune at this point.I get your point, but Rutgers……..
Ha. MaybeIf anything that helps his point lmao. We are immune at this point.
Exactly. A healthy Dylan might have scored 20 points, and Derkack probably gets significantly less. This game was never in doubt and we would find ways to lose. Coaching would also make a huge difference in a close game. This is not a good team at all.I get it, but we weren't exactly blowing out bad teams when he was healthy
JD is not and never will be a Power 5 Divsion 1 player. He deserves ZERO minutes and should not even be on the roster. Stop playing JDThink about it, with Dylan out, Pike was forced to give minutes to Jordan. Instead of putting JD in for 4 minutes and then substituting, i prior games JD was never able to get into the flow. MSU is no slouch and JD played tough, he deserves extended minutes to see if he can replicate this performance.
Huh??? 26 pts. game’s leading scorer.JD is not and never will be a Power 5 Divsion 1 player. He deserves ZERO minutes and should not even be on the roster. Stop playing JD
I've stated Harper + Bailey + good (not needing great) games from the rest is R winning formula. What's the problem?
Ok, that's obvious. But that's not what Dylan + Ace + good (not needing great) games from the rest= R winning formula is.When the other 3 guys on offense are NOT part of offense there is NO winning formula plain & simple
Brutal. I’ll take one of Pike’s sub .500 teams without the stars that plays defense and rebounds over this top-heavy “team” any day.I know I’ve suffered watching it, I assume others share the sentiment.
NBA draft evaluation is often based on potential. It’s mind boggling to me he’s a top 3 pick. Just don’t see it
Jamichal Davis not Dercack sorry for any confusionHuh??? 26 pts. game’s leading scorer.
Scoring the ball at will. What else is Kevin Durant good at? He seems to be doing okNot really answering my question. Most of those points were crazy impressive jumpers - that’s what he does.
But ovviousky - not always gonna be on when that’s your game (like today) - which is why I ask..what else is he really good at??
Jamichal Davis not Dercack sorry for any confusion
NBA draft evaluation is often based on potential.
4-17 from field. How many more shots would you have liked him to take??? He could have taken 40 it was not his dayIt was pretty crazy how little they did to get Ace a better matchup or get him going especially after halftime
They had to know Dylan didn't have it and Ace would need a big 2nd half to pull off a win and didn’t seem to even try to make an adjustment
Not once he's logged alot more ball in last 15 yrs than people here have in their lifetime. His form was great last night. When he jumps straight up & in rhythm he has a solid shot. When he jumps a little forward and sticks ass out its going to be a brickHow many times did you see a Derkack shot and say “no no no no YES!”
I don’t care how many points the kid had, it’s not like he was throwing up a ton of quality looks either, he was just hot.
This isn’t even about JD’s performance though.
You have a top 5 future NBA superstar on your roster. He’s LOADED with talent, and presents a matchup issue for a lot of teams.
Today? Carr was a matchup issue for Ace. Very long, athletic, big. Not many teams have a guy like that.
But guess what, MSU has him, and our staff did nothing to change that matchup in our favor. That’s a problem. It was clear as day. Our staff was content with MSU having that matchup, even though it was clearly bothering your win condition. Inexcusable.
Line has already been usedI’m sure he’s a great kid. Would make a great player at the ymca.
Didn’t know that Princeton’s nickname is YMCALine has already been used
Durant is an excellent passer, a much more refined scorer, a better ball handler, a better defender and also a much better FT shooter.Scoring the ball at will. What else is Kevin Durant good at? He seems to be doing ok
For NBA teams, the less time a player spends in college, the better the prospect they are. College basketball does nothing to prepare players for the NBA.The irony of CBB fans saying they don't understand how Ace and Dylan (and others over the years) can't understand how freshman are top NBA prospects while also saying "imagine how good they would be us in 3-4 years" is not lost of me.
NBA teams are saying the same thing "Think of how good Ace/Dylan will be in 5 years".
