Basketball Rutgers Basketball suffers road loss to Ohio State on Wednesday night

We had plenty of wide open looks - we just don’t make them.
Two wide open looks that we missed, Simpson and the end of the half and Noah of the Offensive rebound. Other than those two the rest were pretty well contested, or not in the flow of the offense (Noah on the transition 3). I watch a ton of cbb we never get open looks from the perimeter the way other teams do.

DS playing like he did at end of last year. Shooting a lot, some scoring, and team headed toward another loss. We don’t need shoot first guards. They have no one who can guard Cliff. Work the ball around, get Cliff touches and take rhythm 3s on kick outs.

I will say if i were OSU coach i would make a concerted effort to get the ball inside and draw fouls from RU. If OSU keeps shooting3s..Rutgers might be able to claw their way back in

Lets see what adjustments both coaches make

Hyatt has to get involved

Flow of the offense and open looks aren't the same thing. That Noah 3 was still a wide open look that he missed. If he made it people would give him credit for finally being aggressive and looking for his shot especially after a hot start

We have two assists. That’s almost impossible. Nothing but 1 on 1 garbage

Better defense and offense so far. Drive and kick open 3 miss and a good look for Cliff

Good passing and offensive sets by OSU. OSU is just toying with us on the boards.

Simpson dunk and showboating down 11.
Other end gives up an easy offensive rebound and put back against a bigger player.
