Freshman pitcher Garrett French will be getting the start today for Rutgers.
2019 (Freshman): Pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts in two relief appearances against the Hurricanes (2/16-17) ... made collegiate debut as a reserve third baseman at Miami (2/15).
Prior to Rutgers: Played four seasons of varsity baseball at Middletown North High School … went 7-2 with a 1.10 ERA as a junior to earn Second Team All-Shore and All-Monmouth County … selected to 2017 Carpenter Cup team … played travel baseball with the 9ers, Mavericks and Evoshield North Atlantic Canes.
