Football Rutgers Football collapses against Kansas State in wild Rate Bowl loss

Game highlighted two major things for next season if we want to whiff a bowl game:

1. We need a LT and probably an interior OL from the portal
2. We need more speed on D, especially at LB.

We had multiple 40+ yard plays today. We had a RB with 100 yards and 3 touchdowns. We had a receiver with 100 yards.


ONCE AGAIN,

We stopped using homerun plays because Schiano is the worst game day head coach in history.

He plays not to lose rather than plays to win. Every single possession of every game the goal should be the same. Score a touchdown. If you have to settle for a field goal so be it, but both college and modern NFL are only successful when you can score touchdowns on as many drives as possible. If you’re punting; you’re losing. If you’re kicking field goals, you’re losing.

Score touchdowns in modern football or you lose.

RU gets a lead and the defense then plays deep and leaves the middle of field open
On offense the blitzes come from all directions but they keep that high school mesh.
Big rush takes away the deep passes and AK starts getting frantic.
I was concerned about KSU's rush because they were one of better teams for sacks

Going to miss a lot of these seniors though. They helped pull Rutgers out of the Ash Error.
