The Rutgers men's soccer team opens up preseason action Sunday hosting UConn in an exhibition match Sunday slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Yurcak Field.

The Scarlet Knights reported to campus on Tuesday and welcomed 13 new student-athletes to the fold along with 15 returning members of the roster.

Did I read correctly that he scored 14 of the teams 25 goals last season? Losing a guy like that in favor a one year stint with a non-power is really tough.

Sucks we lost him but UConn isn’t a non power in soccer. Great history, program and support. Soccer is a little weird with some programs being powerhouses that you wouldn’t expecr(e.g. Akron)
