Thanks for the research. If DelVecchio is ranked where he is, where would Giraldo have been ranked since he beat him in the Wresltoffs (am I remembering correctly?). Hope Smith is back for Nov 29, Oklahoma has a good Heavy.

Giraldo would be lower ranked then Delvecchio based on his loss to Rauser from Utah Valley in the Clarion Open semi final. Rauser is ranked in the 20 range in a bunch of polls. Delvecchio won that weight beating Rauser in the final. One thing for sure is Rutgers is loaded with talent at 133 and 141lbs.

I'm not so sure about that.

Giraldo did beat 2 ranked guys (majored 1 of them) on his way to the title at the ESU open.

I believe Girlado has beaten more ranked guys than DelVecchio has at this point. I think they are basically interchangeable in terms rankings.

Next year's wrestleoffs in the 133-149 weight classes are going to be some serious competitions. Another thing to look forward to. $$$$
