If you think these continual humiliating outcomes are the result of lack of talent alone, you are deluding yourselves. The mark of a good coach is to put a respectable product on the field with whatever you have to work with. I'm not saying you need to win, especially right away, just give the fan base and incoming recruits a reason to be hopeful. Sorry, but I haven't seen that even for one moment this season.
UNH had an awesome OC who had had a few years to put his system in place by 2004. That same OC didn't do a whole lot when the Philly Eagles didn't have the right personnel.Agreed that we have a huge lack of big ten talent.
But to be virtually out of games this year after 1 qtr is beyond words
Did new Hampshire have better talent when they made us look pathetic? Or was it coaching?
Hope he can recruit
Cioffi's play has nothing to do with coaching. He is just not very good in coverage. That is why he is the strong safety and not the free safety. He has played poorly this year and at times has played soft and shyer away from playing physical.
I mean even Hester looks slow out there today. How is a TE burning him to get open like that?
Our punt/kick game absolutely KILLS us. We are constantly in bad field position and constantly giving our opponents GREAT field position. This is one of our biggest problems right now. No question.
MSU should only get 1 down to go 10 yards and we should get at least 7.Mercy rule?

You wish 28-0. They'll score again.I did not expect a win but not 28-0 to a bad MSU team at half time. It's not all talent. It's alot of poor coaching too.
Yes. That's the main issue. Can't tackle, block, throw, catch, coach, go 2 plays without commuting a penalty, but kicking is the biggest issue. I mean it sucks but so does everything else.
It's to the point where we look like middle school team against Don Bosco

not to mention the terrible coaching tooWe are small, slow, and lacking talent in so many places. My Lord it's tough to watch.
hey, at least we're calling TO's so we can score after the kickoff...
And now the other D backs getting burned left and right. I did not expect a win but not 28-0 to a bad MSU team at half time. It's not all talent. It's alot of poor coaching too.
