Did you see MSU gang tackling there? Have we had one gang tackle on defense all game? Worst half we've played this year.
Really sorry guys. Oregon Duck fan here and I'm enduring a bad season but you guys don't deserve this disaster. I miss seeing you guys have a swagger and you will bring in the right coach, even if it's Schiano again. Wouldn't be the worst coach.
Cant really say coaching has not exposed the talent differential and made it worse.
Puzzling personnel moves all year and schemes that put the team in more difficult than necessary situations. Its probably a little worse than early gs without that glimmer- at least yet- that something good is brewing.

I've had it with the bad players excuse. I know we are not very talented, but this game is disgraceful. Starting to wonder.
How is coaching supposed to overcome the fact that you have a MLB and a WLB who are too weak to get off blocks? We suck defending the run because our LBs are too easy to block. Roberts consistently brain farts, takes bad angles to the ball carrier and get swallowed up in the wash. That is all on him. Morris needs to get stronger. He can't shed blocks. When your LBs are consistently blocked, it's much easier for the opponents RBs to get to the second level.
OSU and Michigan were ridiculous but to MSU is damning. Not seeing any improvement with the talent we have.

Would not be an upgrade, he is an excellent program organizer, recruiter, can't land good coordinators because they don't want to work with him, and, as good as he is in organizing a program, he is equally weak on the sidelines.
I wouldn't exactly say there was any "glimmer," on the field, GS's first couple of seasons. We believed, however, because recruiting was getting better than, in '04, we started to get a glimpse of what was to come.
Gio is now beginning to look like a 2 star qb. The offensive line cannot block. The WR cannot get separation. LB are always out of position. DB cannot cover. DL cannot stop the run. MSU looks like a top 4 team. Sums it up.
Doesn't matter what happens to the recruiting class. Ash is going no where after one year. Okruch on the other hand...

We have very little talent. Yes, I know, I know, the RB's are talented, however....The OL is absolutely awful, hence, there are NO holes for our backs to run through and NO time for our QB to find open receivers (if they get open).
And the OC who never deserved to be. Put him back to WR coach and get a real experienced veteran OC in here and not just another yes man.
I guess at least if you are one of the many at the current events board, Rutgers football might not matter that much since either the world is coming to an end, or everything is amazing again (depending on where you fall).
