Rutgers vs UConn in Boca Raton?

Greg is money in bowl games
I'd expect us to blow the doors of UConn in Boca
I never bet, but would literally make a wager we not only cover, but smoke them
agree

we can say a lot of things about Greg and much of them warranted but that man is G Money in bowl games

He plays a lot looser for some reason
Takes chances

Closest I can relate it to was OSU last year
Best game I've ever seen him coach, against a big-name team, in a big game spot (sans the red zone nonsense w/Gavin)

Bobby used to coach tight against Miami, especially in the 4th quarter
Cost him a handful of games and multiple natties

When he finally said F it, he won
Hoping Greg gets to that point eventually
Sending the house is not coaching tight. He was very aggressive. Most think too aggressive in that situation.

I would not say it is looser. I would say it is him being insanely prepared for everything and anything.

Probably a combination of both
He's had some impressive opening day wins w/all off season to prepare (Michigan State, UNC come to mind) and also some clunkers (Fresno State and Cincy)

Exactly. Schiano with 3 weeks to prepare would result in an absolute slaughter of the Connies. He always delivers with extra time to prep and in the 2.0 era, doesn't lose to teams he shouldn't be losing to. He's undefeated vs former BE foes and most definitely would keep it that way vs UConn.

Agree. The red zone Gavin thing was the one time you wanted him to revert to stubborn Greg.

When he knows what to prepare for he does a pretty awesome job. Generally he has struggled when things change (hence our fear of backup QBs). His on the fly adjustments have never been phenomenal and he lives and dies with his coordinators.
