Rutgers Wrestling Releases TV Dates, Home Times for 2017-18 Season

Rutgers wrestling will appear on Big Ten Network twice during the 2017-18 season, with the Scarlet Knights' home matches against Ohio State (Jan. 7, noon) and Penn State (Jan. 28, 2 p.m.) scheduled to be televised by the network. RU also finalized its home match times for the 2017-18 season.

If I were Rutgers, I'd much rather have two other duals on the broadcast schedule. PSU and tOSU could be two major spankings for Rutgers when it comes down to the final team score. Otoh, if Rutgers beating Iowa were broadcast, think of the bump it would give the program. Or the Minnesota match. Not as much effect, but still a traditional power. But any TV exposure is good and Rutgers will be competitive for most of the individual matches with Penn State and Ohio State.

I take it season tickets will be going out soon, now that the schedule has been solidified.
