I didn't think a takedown, but was focused on that defensive danger he has the PSU in.

Love the fight and effort from Cetta. Drops a tough one but he was in it the whole time and had a chance to tie it up but couldn’t finish inbounds.
Cetta improving and could be a problem in Big 10s and would be ashame if he doesn’t make NCAA bc he is absolutely one of the 33 best wrestlers in this weight class.

What are you seeing from Peterson right now that makes you think he is a top 8 level wrestler now? He certainly has skills but he absolutely refuses to do anything offensively so how can he be expected to win? Lmk the formula. Guess I missing it.
This is a disgrace. Its on National TV in one of the biggest venues in NCAA and they dont have Video Replay? How is that egen possible. Not that it will ultimately matter in full outcome but absolutely can have an impact for individuals.

What an embarrassing performance from Turley, basically spent 4 mins on bottom and couldn’t get up once against a guy bumping up a weight. These types of efforts are just pathetic and happen way too often with this team.
And is the reason why people question the coaching. I get it, wrestlers have to wrestle but we seem to underachieve in a lot of spots like this and lack sense of urgency. Almost like they dont listen. Seems like Peterson, Turley (who is his own animal) and some others want to do their own thing.
Who cares! Find a way. Your 15 lbs heavier and supposed to be a dynamic and innovative wrestler
Let’s pump the brakes on the beast talk. He didn’t even get close to working him for a turn… Turley just gave little to no effort for a large portion of the match.
