May not mean much but the secondary is practically brand new as of Wednesday, no matter how much of a D1 athletes these kids are. They need time to get used to being starters and luckily they have Norfolk St today to start their season and get some playing time in. Hopefully, they'll get their training in by Baptism by Fire today so that they get be as prepared as possible for the season.

Looks like it will be a rough season but Hopefully it won't be as bad as some people will make it out to be. But there is that chance though, esp with all the stuff going on around the program. Lets see what happens

I agree. It's probably going to be an uphill climb all season for the secondary but let's hope they improve some and the offense can pick up the slack.

uh, norfolk state is not a baptism by fire. this is a team that hasn't scored against us in 3 previous meetings. they're considered a bad-mediocre FCS team.

now washington state is going to be a true baptism by fire.
