so who do you root for besides RUTGERS?

I am down to rooting for "amatèurs" so I root for the fabulous Clairton Bears, a team that has never let me down despite having the smallest Class A enrollment in western PA and usually outweighed 20-40 lbs per man. State record longest winning streak, curently ranked 2nd in PA and going for another state championship this year. Ironically their next playoff game is Saturday night....forcing me to record RU game and watch after I listen to Bears game on internet. I wish this was a harder choice for me, but I am not giving up on the day that will be true. The Bears also have a 3 star Noah Hamlin who would do wonders in space for the playmaker short RU offense.
SEC: Florida (best friend went there) and Arkansas (loved playing them)
PAC: Washington (root for almost anyone that beats us)
B12: Texas (all of my dads family went there)
ACC: Louisville (loved the rivalry) and Duke (fiancée went there)
AAC: cincy (they've gotten the wrong end of the deal)
CUSA: rice (cousin played for them)
MAC: WMU (Rutgers connection)
mWC: Boise (Peterson won me a lot of money)
Sun belt : app state (they beat Michigan)
NFL: dolphins and cowboys (family are cowboys fans but I root for the dolphins. The Leon left game was my first NFL game)
Besides Rutgers, I'll root for Alabama (son) and Ohio State (wife)(except, of course when we play them)

Other Football: Tottenham and soon Atlanta United
Long list of who I root against: Penn st, Notre Dame and almost everybody wearing even a little bit of orange. That even extends to pro sports. The Knicks and the Dutch are the only teams with orange I like.

When we were kids, other than RU, we split the big rivalries you saw on TV all the time. Mine:

SECACC: Georgia and FSU (but follow LSU too)

My grandpa's uncle played with The Bear at Alabama so we pull for them every season. And both sides of my family have men who enlisted in the navy, along with my uncle who graduated from the academy and is currently a captain.

University of Southern California since my son went to college there.
I do have an interest in Alabama since my brother lives in Homewood outside of B'ham, my niece graduated from there, and my brother's nephew played for them.
