Just curious, is the Spain trip still planned for the team this summer? If yes, how will the dates for the trip impact the ability of the staff to recruit and follow kids playing during the summer camp period. I know the staff spent a lot of time last year following and watching Parker, Jenkins and others and were able to get visits planned...until Jenkins and Bashir canceled visits in September and Parker decommitted.

My guess is the trip is planned for a few weeks {3 maybe }in August.

Eddie Jordan is still a much-loved figure and a great representative for Rutgers. His inability to coach a D1 college team despite his NBA coaching background does nothing to change what he means to Rutgers, and you newbies need to respect that.

I understand. Once a Knight, always a Knight

Still doesnt make up for the last 3 seasons and rock bottom he led us to.

Onward and upward.

Will always love and respect EJ--always represented RU with class. Ok, he was not a good college coach, and was most useful as an NBA assistant. Well, was a damn good analyst and writer, but a miserable failure when my folks made me take piano lessons. And sucked at dodge ball. Does that mean anything? No. People are good at some things and not so good at others. EJ helped us get past the post-Mike Rice perception, and if he was paid a lot of money, that's not on him but the guy that hired him. Ten years from now, when the program is running well, we won't even remember the last three years with any clarity. Move on, people, and celebrate EJ as one of our more notable grads, rather than blame him. Last words on the subject unless some newbie gets way out of line.
